Fellow, Startup Leadership Program, New York City (2013-2014): Current fellow for New York City SLP chapter. General program description: The Startup Leadership Program (SLP) is a highly selective, 80-hour, 6-month world-class training program and lifetime network for outstanding founders and innovators. SLP Fellows have founded 700 companies that have raised $370 million, and include breakthrough and award-winning startups like Savored, TomNod, Ixigo, NatureBox, SideTour, Micello, Momelan, Novira, Runkeeper, Sensobi, Shareaholic, Solar Junction, Voicetap and Ubersense.

Advisor, Life Sciences Angel Network (2012-2014): General description: In 2011, the New York Academy of Sciences launched the Life Sciences Angel Network (LSAN) to serve New York City and tri-state area scientists and entrepreneurs looking to fund and promote innovation. The mission is to provide young life sciences companies with financial and operational support, sector-specific mentorship, and access to a broad network of investors and entrepreneurs for subsequent institutional financing. LSAN is now an independent organization. 

Fellow, InSITE (2010-2012): General description: Founded in 1999, InSITE is a two-year Fellowship program comprised of 150 top graduate students in business, law, engineering, computer science, design and PhD and post doctorate programs in natural sciences and medicine from top Universities who are interested in entrepreneurship, technology and venture finance. InSITE’s core programming is a combination of education, experiential learning and projects, and engagement with leading practitioners, VC’s, angels and entrepreneurs, and technologists. It also includes a high level of peer interaction, creating a powerful network of over 500+ alumni. The Fellowship is comprised of a talented pool of graduate students attending Columbia, NYU, Harvard, MIT, Stanford, Georgetown and Memorial Sloan Kettering, committed to the Fellowship’s mission on campuses across the nation.
